Trapshooting

Trapshooting is one of the most popular clay target shooting sports where participants shoot at clay discs, known as "pigeons," with a shotgun. Targets are launched away from the shooter at varying angles. Shooters rotate through five Posts positioned in an arc at 16 yards behind the Trap House. Shooters will take five shots at each Post before rotating to the next shooting Post. One round will consist of 25 Targets. It is one of the oldest forms of competitive clay shooting, offering both recreational enjoyment and high-level competition, requiring a good level of mental concentration.
Skeet
Skeet Shooting participants shoot at clay targets launched at consistent angles from Two Houses - an elevated High House and a Low House that is closer to the ground - as they move across a semi-circular field. The objective is to hit the target, which are thrown individually or as a True Pair, from the eight different shooting stations around the semi-circle Skeet Field. It's a fast-paced activity that simulates bird hunting scenarios and is a popular recreational competitive shooting sport.
Sporting Clays
Sporting Clays is a shotgun discipline where participants shoot at clay targets (pigeons) that are presented at a greater variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes, simulating various hunting scenarios. It is one of the fastest-growing and perhaps most challenging shotgun disciplines due to the varying target presentations across each of the stations. A typical Sporting Clays Course will include 10 - 15 different stations laid out over natural terrain. It is often called "golf with a shotgun" due to the varying target presentations and the social nature of the sport. It is considered the most complex and realistic of the three shotgun disciplines, appealing to hunters and competitive shooters alike. The sport emphasizes accuracy, quick thinking, and adaptability, as shooters must adjust to different target types and flight paths at each station along the course.
